21st Annual Spiritual Congregation and Mashaikh convention 2005

23rd Annual congregation was held on 7th July 2005 at Pahari Ground Faisalabad it was arranged by the Tanzeem Mashaikh Uzzam Pakistan.

His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar was the president of this event.

Many scholars from different schools of thought and leaders from other religions and sects attended this convention.

Over 150 thousand male community workers and 50 thousand female community workers also attended the convention.

Objectives of the convention:

Make the dream come true of the Stability of Pakistan and eliminate the social antiquated traditions.

Raise the awareness among patriotic Pakistanis to form an effective strategy to get benefits from the teachings of the Mashaikh (Sufi saints) to awake the national consciousness.

Highlight the sense of need to start collective efforts for the stability of Pakistan and international peace by establishing understanding amongst international religions, international human right organizations and Islamic religious organizations.

Important announcements on this occasion:

Over two hundred thousand male and female community workers agreed to give up interest based business, vulgar birthday parties, Basant festival (people are being killed in the kite flying events through a specific metal string is being used to fly a kite), extravagance, vulgar dance parties on wedding and engagement ceremonies and firing on these occasions on an appeal of His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar and they all vowed to renounce extravagance and live simple life and serve the humanity.

All the famous spiritual orders, Sikh community, Hindu community and many religious organizations in Pakistan expressed satisfaction over the leadership of His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar and announced their full support.
