significant Conference On The Topic Of Accidents
This conference was arranged by the Tanzeem Mashaikh Uzzam Pakistan it was held on 10th April 2012 at Lasani Secretariat 39/4 Ghulam Rasool Nagar Faisalabad under the chairmanship of His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar (Head of TMUPI, Chairman of Lasani Welfare Foundation).
Objectives of the conference:
Government should ensure the arrangements of special incentives for the Families of the Martyrs of Siachen Glacier.
Ambassador of peace His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar (The chairman of LWF and TMUPI) addressed the conference he said, Siachen “the land of wild roses” which is the second largest glacier in the world, temperature in summer can be between -16 to -32 Celsius and in winter it can plummet to -50 Celsius. Human life is extremely hard that no one can survive in an ordinary outfit there. But our soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the country and the nation, performing duties at such extreme place isenormously dangerous task and our soldiers are showing great courage and honor there. An avalanche struck our army base there recently and our 135 soldiers passed away in this tragic accident while serving the country. May Allah Almighty protect our soldiers from such accidents. Ameen! Government should announce special incentives for those soldiers who survived this tragedy and are disable now and for the families of the martyrs. We pay a very special tribute to our soldiers for serving their duties at one of the world’s coldest place on earth.
