The Central Consultative Council Conference Against the Wrong Planning of the roads by the Highways Department of Punjab
This conference was held on May 2012 at Lasani Secretariat Faisalabad
It was arranged by the Tanzeem Mushaikh Uzzam Pakistan
His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar chaired this conference.
Objectives of the conference:
Highways department must take care of the level of the houses while building up new roads, Tanzeem Mashaikh Uzzam Pakistan conveyed this message to the relevant institutions through media and helped public to reduce their sufferings.
His holiness Sufi Masood Ahmad Siddiqui Lasani Sarkar addressed the conference he took a very serious notice of this issue when Punjab highways department builds up new roads they dump extra rubbleon the roads and keep on building them higher and higher, he said department entirely ignores the residents they put extra old rubble on the new roads to build them higher which develop more problem for the residents live on these roads. There have been so many such new roads built around Ghulam Rasool Nagar and surrounding areas during their construction it has been completely overlooked that new roads are being built higher than the houses around there. People’s life become torment in the days of monsoon or whenever the sewage system is clogged up. His holiness demanded from the authorities to strictly bound the highways department to stop building up roads higher than the houses and other buildings around. In the western and middle eastern countries they take care of the level of the buildings and houses when new roads are built. There are strict laws in these countries and departments must obey them.
In the end of the conference it has been demanded to take legal action against the department and the authorities who are involved in making such roads.
